What is the Service Call Fee and Emergency Service Fee?

The “service call fee” covers the cost of sending a fully stocked truck and certified technician or plumber to your home plus the cost to diagnose any issue. The standard $89 service call fee is waived for all Friendly Service Plan memberships during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm. Members receive 50% off the after-hours fee for any emergency services needed, normally $199.

What are the 15% repair discounts good towards?

You will receive a 15% discount on any regularly priced repairs for as long as your Friendly Service Plan remains active. This covers things like plumbing, sewer, and drain repairs, water heater repairs, and AC or furnace repairs.

Annual HVAC and water heater tune-ups are included for all service plan members and members also receive separate discounts for HVAC replacements ($750 OFF) and water heater installations ($200 OFF).

How do I schedule an appointment for my service plan?

The Friendly team will reach out to you to schedule your included annual services, but you can always schedule an appointment using our online scheduler here, chat with us online, or give us a call.

You can sign up for email and text reminders when it’s time to schedule your annual AC and furnace tune-ups and your water heater tune-up.

What does the annual AC Tune-Up include?

A Friendly certified service technician will perform a full 24-point inspection on your AC units which includes checking, tightening, adjusting and cleaning all necessary components of your system. This service is normally $129 for non-members.

What does the annual Furnace Tune-Up include?

A Friendly certified technician will perform a 19-point system evaluation and full safety inspection on your furnace. Our service technician will check for any gas leaks in valves and lines, and check and record CO reading at the register. This service is normally $129 for non-members.

What is included in the Indoor Air Quality Evaluation?

Along with your system tune-up, Friendly will perform a full assessment of the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) of your home, review our findings with you, and answer any questions you may have. Friendly can also install any IAQ equipment, such as filter boxes and uV lights, to help purify the air by filtering dust and killing mold and bacteria, ultimately channeling clean air into your HVAC system for circulation in your home.
