I scheduled an appointment for Friday morning between 9 and 11. My technician didn't show. When I called, they informed me he was stuck in an emergency situation up in Ogden. I understand emergencies, and I am fine with an emergency taking priority. What shows a lack of respect for the customer is that no one bothered to inform me. One quick phone call and my appointment could have been rescheduled. Instead I was left waiting all morning, and now I have to wait all afternoon for a visit that I can only hope will occur between 12 and 4. I am SO GLAD I got to spend my day off sitting around and waiting.

Curtis was AMAZING!Unfortunately, the issue that we had him come out for, It was....a bit of a mystery as to what caused it to happen.However, we had a few things around our house that had to be looked at as well, and Curtis was more than happy to help us get them all taken care of, and back to working order. We're especially grateful to him, and 'Friendly'. Since my wife is about to give birth any day now, at home! So, it's nice to know that these guys are available to come quickly, and help get things fixed as soon as possible. They have always been very fair, and very experienced. They know what they're doing!Even with Curtis being a newcomer... you could tell he knows his stuff! He explained everything to me in a way, that even someone (as slightly experienced in home repair) like me could understand.They will ALWAYS have my business continuing forward!

Have used this company several times and have had awesome results and interactions every time. Most recent was a heating a cooling unit for my garage Detail Shop so i don’t freeze during the winter and melt during the summer. From the time i called for an estimate, to the time they finished installing the unit was less than a week. Jeremy, Jonathan, Corbin and Alex were all super easy to talk to, and answered any question i had. Highly recommend Friendly Plumber Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone looking to keep their homes or garages warm.

Friendly really did a knockout job on two major projects we needed. In the summer, they helped replaced our water main line that had burst underground in the yard which came at a time after a lot of frustration with a landscaping company.Then this winter Alex and his team took care of a new furnace and A/C system replacement. Very professional and we did not have any worry about the quality of the work done on either project. Would definitely recommend Friendly for all plumbing, HVAC, and electrical needs!

Alex and his team did a great job with our new furnace and AC unit! They made sure to explain all of my options very clearly and during the installation process explained each step they were doing and why they did things a certain way. We're very happy they were able to work with our schedule too and get the new heater up and running in one day so we didn't have to worry about a cold night. I look forward to continue to work with them in the future!

I was not filling well ! Ask if I could ask if They could let them self’s inn & probably because I’ve had them out so many timesBut that don’t happen these days. But I needed the service done.!! Any way I can trust them/ the job will be done wright and efficiently every time / They trust me in that I’m not going to take advantage of that trust in me. Bye claiming that they didn’t do their job and not pay or blah blah blah it’s the way I wish the world was steel I trust other guys I don’t know what they’re doing if they don’t know they’ve got some with it does I love them oh nothing else for that fact alone

I have used Friendly Services for several BIG projects. I gave them more than several chances to prove themselves. I can not recommend them. I am not fluent in "plumbing and furnace" so I can't explain in detail. But I have spent tens of thousands and problems continue to arise. It's always "you need a new___" or you need to do _____" so I do it and then it doesn't work and I have to do something else. I'm sick about it all. I've had no hot water for days, gas leaks, no heat. I regret ever working with them. They take my money but take no accountability. Beware.

Go to Yelp for more accurate reviews.This all started back in April when our watermain burst. We were given a quote of just over $9000 and we agreed to have the work done. It only took the excavators a couple hours to realize they could not do the job according to what was quoted and they bumped the cost to more than double the amount. With a cost of over $19,000.00 you would think they would work to get it done quickly and keep the customer happy. It took me multiple calls to get the salesman or a manager out to the site as decisions had to be made. It was over 3 weeks until we got the job done. Fortunately we were without water for only 2 weeks. The excavators were nice enough to set us up with a hose to bring water to the house. It was another couple weeks for the concrete to finally get done.That wasn't the end though. The concrete cracked in less than 30 days. They finally addressed the cracked concrete in October. 2 weeks ago (October 14th) they busted up the concrete, dug it out and put rebar in and then they left. I started calling this week wondering why we haven't poured new concrete. My concern is with trick or treaters coming on Monday. I have been told that a manager will call back and they understand my concern. I don't believe they care. The person I spoke with today tried to tell me they are very busy. Really? Too busy for a 5 minute call? Now, I will be stuck taking a day off work on Monday to make sure the kids don't get hurt. I can't afford a lawsuit. I have always been slow to write a review, in fact this is only the 2nd time that I have felt pushed to complain this way. They tell me they care but everything seems to take forever. This has been an expensive 6 month nightmare and it isn't over yet.

The repairman was courteous and on time. He was responsive with parts on hand which isn’t something you hear of recently. The only issue I had was with the cost of the repair. The cost was double what it should have been. I do appreciate the promptness and professionalism. Thank you

I don't leave many reviews, however when someone goes above and beyond as Jonathan, Chase, Corbin and Alex have, the experience must be shared. I have used Friendly Heating and Air for both installation of two heaters and now a new AC unit. We had a very complex and complicated condo unit with a very strict HOA governance and had to have Alex and his team work around framing, tight crawl spaces and a very difficult air intake and exhaust situation. They all had to come back and forth to the job at least 4 or 5 times. Each time they had to return they were polite, positive and professional. After many long days and creative thinking, they completed the job within a few days. If you need any HVAC or plumbing work done. These are the only guys you need to call!

Stay away from these guys. The main guy with worked with is "Ron". We had a clog in a bathroom sink that ended up costing upwards of $400 to fix. Included in that cost was yearly membership that guaranteed free drain cleanings and checkups. Fast forward two months, the same clog has come back. We call them out to fix it, and they promise the free drain cleaning. "Ron" gets to the house says we used our free drain cleaning when we paid for the membership ON THE FIRST CLEANING. They are now gonna charge us another $400 for fixing the drain.FRIENDLY HOME SERVICES ARE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS. STAY AWAY.

Made an appointment and the day and hour they were supposedly to show up called and said we were outside their service area. When we made the appointment they checked and said we were their service, waited a week to have another person (one of there several managers who knows) say they they didn’t services that area (literally down the street), their answering service and managers aren’t in sync with each other and we can only Imagine what the rest of their service would end up like?Basically they ended up lying to us, use at your own peril, we are bitterly disappointed.

Update August 25: Don’t let owners good natured response fool you. This is the second time I was promised a follow up from management and I am still waiting.Also decided to add a picture of the part that was replaced by “Friendly” for $750. This was a $50 part + 1/2 labor + visit charge. Based on this their fee seems to be about $300+ an hour. My attorney is only $250 an hour. What a rip off. Friendly, Whipple, and Anyhour plumbing are all getting ripped apart on Nextdoor for their unsavory business practices.Original: Needed leaking outdoor facing faucet replaced that was causing interior flooding. Services are way over priced. I feel taken advantage of at a moment when I was in a weak position. Wanted to replace my 1 year old water heater for a “leak” for $2400. I paid less than $2000 to have that brand new one installed. Had a different plumber take a look and give a quote and they said there is no leak in the water heater. So another plumber just saved me $2400 for replacing something unnecessarily. Will never recommend and instead will actively dissuade people from using their services. Find a reasonable service not trying to take advantage of people.

I have used Friendly in the past and really feel they are a reliable, dependable and knowledgeable company. My hot water heater was making noises and I wasn’t sure if the soft water brine tank was working properly. Joseph was very knowledgeable and informative about the brine tank working well, flushing out the hot water heater, making some adjustments and also giving us a quote for a someday instillation of an in demand water heater. I am glad I decided to do a maintenance contract with them!

Joe Tareko was came out to help us figure out what was going on with a home we just purchased. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. They did a drain service at the end of March 2021 for me, and a few days latter, the drain is clogged again. They did another service and charged me for $500. A few months later the drain is clogged again and I had them to come over to take a look. They asked for over $500 for one more service or a so called permernant solution for over $10000. I rejected and called somebody from another company. He fixed it and cahrged me $80. The drain works fine during the last half years since then.

Our 50 year old home is heated by a boiler by the use of floor heating boards . We woke up to a partially flooded basement and we couldn't figure out where the water was coming from as it was coming up through the basement floor until we meet with Joseph Tirko our friendly plumber. He evaluated quickly where a pipe had cracked under the foundation and figured out a plan that was cleavor and efficient that saved use thousands of dollars. It took him only a half of a day to fix and repair while also providing a way to prevent future leaks with the other lines still under the home. In our opinion, he IS the BEST and a life saver for us. We highly recommend Joseph and will keep him in our personal address files.

Alex was very knowledgeable and professional, and answered all of the questions I had. While he was doing the furnace tune up, he found some issues with the original installation. Friendly Home installed a new heating and air system for my home last year, Alex explained to me what were not done correctly and he fixed the problems. I really appreciate his honesty and work ethics. Alex knows what he’s doing, and provides excellent service.About three weeks later Alex came back and did a tune up for my AC. He was so pleased to work with and went the extra miles to rinse off the dirt built up on the condenser unit. Thank you Alex! Highly recommended.

Jeremy Richards came in and looked over our electrical panel. He noticed a live wire that has been placed in an unused receptacle and removed it safely for us. I scheduled an appointment for Friday morning between 9 and 11. My technician didn't show. When I called, they informed me he was stuck in an emergency situation up in Ogden. I understand emergencies, and I am fine with an emergency taking priority. What shows a lack of respect for the customer is that no one bothered to inform me. One quick phone call and my appointment could have been rescheduled. Instead I was left waiting all morning, and now I have to wait all afternoon for a visit that I can only hope will occur between 12 and 4. I am SO GLAD I got to spend my day off sitting around and waiting.

Curtis was AMAZING!Unfortunately, the issue that we had him come out for, It was....a bit of a mystery as to what caused it to happen.However, we had a few things around our house that had to be looked at as well, and Curtis was more than happy to help us get them all taken care of, and back to working order. We're especially grateful to him, and 'Friendly'. Since my wife is about to give birth any day now, at home! So, it's nice to know that these guys are available to come quickly, and help get things fixed as soon as possible. They have always been very fair, and very experienced. Have used this company several times and have had awesome results and interactions every time. Most recent was a heating a cooling unit for my garage Detail Shop so i don’t freeze during the winter and melt during the summer. Friendly really did a knockout job on two major projects we needed. In the summer, they helped replaced our water main line that had burst underground in the yard which came at a time after a lot of frustration with a landscaping company.Then this winter Alex and his team took care of a new furnace and A/C system replacement. Very professional and we did not have any worry about the quality of the work done on either project. Would definitely recommend Friendly for all plumbing, HVAC, and electrical needs!

I have used Friendly Services for several BIG projects. I gave them more than several chances to prove themselves. I can not recommend them. I am not fluent in "plumbing and furnace" so I can't explain in detail. But I have spent tens of thousands and problems continue to arise. It's always "you need a new___" or you need to do _____" so I do it and then it doesn't work and I have to do something else. I'm sick about it all. I've had no hot water for days, gas leaks, no heat. I regret ever working with them. They take my money but take no accountability. Beware.

Go to Yelp for more accurate reviews.This all started back in April when our watermain burst. We were given a quote of just over $9000 and we agreed to have the work done. It only took the excavators a couple hours to realize they could not do the job according to what was quoted and they bumped the cost to more than double the amount. With a cost of over $19,000.00 you would think they would work to get it done quickly and keep the customer happy. It took me multiple calls to get the salesman or a manager out to the site as decisions had to be made. It was over 3 weeks until we got the job done. Fortunately we were without water for only 2 weeks. The excavators were nice enough to set us up with a hose to bring water to the house. It was another couple weeks for the concrete to finally get done.That wasn't the end though. The concrete cracked in less than 30 days. They finally addressed the cracked concrete in October. 2 weeks ago (October 14th) they busted up the concrete, dug it out and put rebar in and then they left. I started calling this week wondering why we haven't poured new concrete. My concern is with trick or treaters coming on Monday. I have been told that a manager will call back and they understand my concern. I don't believe they care. The person I spoke with today tried to tell me they are very busy. Really? Too busy for a 5 minute call? Now, I will be stuck taking a day off work on Monday to make sure the kids don't get hurt. I can't afford a lawsuit. I have always been slow to write a review, in fact this is only the 2nd time that I have felt pushed to complain this way. They tell me they care but everything seems to take forever. This has been an expensive 6 month nightmare and it isn't over yet.

I don't leave many reviews, however when someone goes above and beyond as Jonathan, Chase, Corbin and Alex have, the experience must be shared. I have used Friendly Heating and Air for both installation of two heaters and now a new AC unit. We had a very complex and complicated condo unit with a very strict HOA governance and had to have Alex and his team work around framing, tight crawl spaces and a very difficult air intake and exhaust situation. They all had to come back and forth to the job at least 4 or 5 times. Each time they had to return they were polite, positive and professional. After many long days and creative thinking, they completed the job within a few days. If you need any HVAC or plumbing work done. These are the only guys you need to call!

Stay away from these guys. The main guy with worked with is "Ron". We had a clog in a bathroom sink that ended up costing upwards of $400 to fix. Included in that cost was yearly membership that guaranteed free drain cleanings and checkups. Fast forward two months, the same clog has come back. We call them out to fix it, and they promise the free drain cleaning. "Ron" gets to the house says we used our free drain cleaning when we paid for the membership ON THE FIRST CLEANING. They are now gonna charge us another $400 for fixing the drain.FRIENDLY HOME SERVICES ARE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS. STAY AWAY.

Made an appointment and the day and hour they were supposedly to show up called and said we were outside their service area. When we made the appointment they checked and said we were their service, waited a week to have another person (one of there several managers who knows) say they they didn’t services that area (literally down the street), their answering service and managers aren’t in sync with each other and we can only Imagine what the rest of their service would end up like?Basically they ended up lying to us, use at your own peril, we are bitterly disappointed.

Update August 25: Don’t let owners good natured response fool you. This is the second time I was promised a follow up from management and I am still waiting.Also decided to add a picture of the part that was replaced by “Friendly” for $750. This was a $50 part + 1/2 labor + visit charge. Based on this their fee seems to be about $300+ an hour. My attorney is only $250 an hour. What a rip off. Friendly, Whipple, and Anyhour plumbing are all getting ripped apart on Nextdoor for their unsavory business practices.Original: Needed leaking outdoor facing faucet replaced that was causing interior flooding. Services are way over priced. I feel taken advantage of at a moment when I was in a weak position. Wanted to replace my 1 year old water heater for a “leak” for $2400. I paid less than $2000 to have that brand new one installed. Had a different plumber take a look and give a quote and they said there is no leak in the water heater. So another plumber just saved me $2400 for replacing something unnecessarily. Will never recommend and instead will actively dissuade people from using their services. Find a reasonable service not trying to take advantage of people.

I have used Friendly in the past and really feel they are a reliable, dependable and knowledgeable company. My hot water heater was making noises and I wasn’t sure if the soft water brine tank was working properly. They did a drain service at the end of March 2021 for me, and a few days latter, the drain is clogged again. They did another service and charged me for $500. A few months later the drain is clogged again and I had them to come over to take a look. They asked for over $500 for one more service or a so called permernant solution for over $10000. I rejected and called somebody from another company. He fixed it and cahrged me $80. The drain works fine during the last half years since then.

Our 50 year old home is heated by a boiler by the use of floor heating boards . We woke up to a partially flooded basement and we couldn't figure out where the water was coming from as it was coming up through the basement floor until we meet with Joseph Tirko our friendly plumber. He evaluated quickly where a pipe had cracked under the foundation and figured out a plan that was cleavor and efficient that saved use thousands of dollars. It took him only a half of a day to fix and repair while also providing a way to prevent future leaks with the other lines still under the home. In our opinion, he IS the BEST and a life saver for us. We highly recommend Joseph and will keep him in our personal address files.

Alex was very knowledgeable and professional, and answered all of the questions I had. While he was doing the furnace tune up, he found some issues with the original installation. Friendly Home installed a new heating and air system for my home last year, Alex explained to me what were not done correctly and he fixed the problems. I really appreciate his honesty and work ethics. Alex knows what he’s doing, and provides excellent service.About three weeks later Alex came back and did a tune up for my AC. He was so pleased to work with and went the extra miles to rinse off the dirt built up on the condenser unit. Thank you Alex! Highly recommended.

Brady and his plumbing team fixed, replaced, installed, and any other term you can think of for all the plumbing through our old house. It was a large project with a lot of money on the line and it was taken care of professionally and completed great! Very happy we went with them for the entire project which spanned through the whole house and outside.

We got 4 bids for our sewer main repair. All were extremely expensive. Only Friendly Home Services gave us the option to do just what we needed done without requiring all of the extra work the others wanted upsell on. FHD kept us updated all along the process.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the humidifier and air filtration system that FHS installed for us last year. Jeremy Richards came in and looked over our electrical panel. He noticed a live wire that has been placed in an unused receptacle and removed it safely for us. He gave us some pointers on energy saving ideas and showed us how much energy we were using with a space heater. We are very thankful for the service we received today.
