Friendly Plumber, Heating & Air is happily sponsoring a cat and dog at the local animal shelter: Best Friends Animal Society in Sugarhouse, UT. Friendly will indefinitely pay for the adoption fees for one cat and one dog each month. Each pet owner will also get a “going home” Friendly care package!
Best Friends Animal Society in Utah is working collaboratively with animal rescue groups, city shelters and passionate individuals who are all dedicated to the mission of making Utah a no-kill state. As part of this mission, Best Friends runs the Best Friends Lifesaving Center in Sugar House.
Dog Highlight: Eliza

Eliza is a Friendly and playful, snuggly senior who would love a comfortable home to spend her golden years. She loves humans but would prefer to be the only dog in your home.
Cat Highlight: Lil’ Bertha
Details:
Female, black cat, 11 years old, FIV+, special diet, on medication
Lil’ Bertha is a sweet old gal who is looking for a nice place to spend her golden years. She doesn’t like other kitties but she does well around calm dogs and kids. She is FIV+ (FIV is only communicable to other cats and many FIV+ cats still live normal, healthy lives). She also has early stage kidney disease that is managed with diet and hyperthyroidism that is managed with a topical medication. Lil’ Bertha loves to be pet and might even greet you at the door when you come home. She is known for snuggling with her favorite humans under warm blankets and having a cute, old lady meow.
